Building our new Sanctuary

This stage of the redevelopment was officially opened on May 14, 2018.

The project team have been busy maintaining the construction schedule and meeting the requirements of Woollahra Council. Whether it be through design or on site construction, the team are ensuring the project will meet the expectations of Emanuel Synagogue as well as satisfying all the requirements imposed by council and statutory authorities.

On the 20th June, concrete was poured on the second floor of the new sanctuary. Now, scaffolding is being erected to form the new sanctuary.

On 1st August, the columns of the new sanctuary started being erected.
