This year we are delighted to present four separate Sedarim; a Family Seder, a Communal Seder, a Women's Seder as well as Netzer's Chocolate Seder! This week we read the double parashah Vayakhel and Pekudei. It is also Shabbat Hachodesh, the Shabbat when we usher in the month of Nissan and the festival of Pesach. The Torah portions this week read like a manual for designers and architects, as the two nominated artists are instructed about the building of the mishkan, the tabernacle; its furniture and ritual objects.

1 in 6 couples in our community struggle with infertility, often in silence. This initiative aims to raise awareness and break the stigma surrounding the infertility journey and let these couples know that they are never alone.

Morning Minyan
A meaningful way to begin the day. The morning minyan provides an opportunity to welcome the day with prayer, and a chance for mourners to recite kaddish.
Minyanim are on Zoom from 7:30am Monday to Friday. In addition they are on campus Monday and Thursday at 7:30am; Bar and Bat Mitzvah students may attend on those days.

Oren is a teacher at Emanuel School. Before coming to Sydney 5 years ago, he worked as a teacher in Jerusalem as well as being active in several initiatives for dialogue and reconciliation between Arabs and Jews. He has a BA in Middle East studies and Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and is currently completing his MA in Peace and Conflict studies at Sydney University.
